In "Born Again," objective evidence of reincarnation is presented which demonstrates that from lifetime to lifetime, facial features and personality traits remain consistent. Importantly, it is shown that religion, race and ethnic affiliation can change from one incarnation to another. With this realization, war and conflict based on these differences in these affiliations will be mitigated. Independently researched reincarnation cases include those studied by Ian Stevenson, MD, at the University off Virginia, as well as the of the cases of Police Captain Robert Snow, Fire Chief Jeff Keene, neurosurgeon Norm Shealy and US Diplomat Wayne Peterson. Cases solved through Kevin Ryerson, who is featured in Shirley MacLaine's books, are also presented. Very important cases featured in "Born Again: include: Anne Frank, who was persecuted as a Jew in the Holocaust, and who has reincarnated into a Christian family. This case demonstrates how violence and war based on differences in religious or ethnic affiliation is groundless. Pablo Picaso, who has been reborn as a prodigy, who started producing Picaso like art at age four and who has already been featured on Oprah. Paul Guaguin, who has reincarnated as Peter Teekamp, who unconsciously replicated Gauguin's artistic development as a young man. Laurel & Hardy, who have reincarnated as brothers, are once again a gifted comedy team Political cases include past lives of Indira Gandhii, Nehru, Abdul Kalam, Ralph Nader and George W. Bush. Past lives of Indian movie stars Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha are presented. US celebrity cases include Oprah, Halle Berry, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and Steven Spielberg. Past lives of spiritual teachers, such as Neale Donald Walsch, Wayne Dyer and Siva Baba are discussed.

Customer Review: Evidence of Reincarnation

"Born Again" is a book that gives the reader an excellent and easy to understand introduction into reincarnation - its principles, different types of research, evidence and impacts on society and religion - before the author presents his own independently researched reincarnation cases.

I very much like Dr Semkiw's statement at the beginning of his book, "I believe that knowledge of the mechanism of reincarnation will help humanity evolve from a tribal mentality, in which we identify with one particular religious, ethnic, racial or nationalistic group, to the stage of the Universal Human. As a Universal Human, one understands and respects many cultures, but does not align one's self with any one denomination" as it sets the stage for his approach and gives his core reason to proof and educate the public on the existence of reincarnation.

The overview of reincarnation in relation to different religions is also very helpful as it emphasizes the importance of this topic on a global level.

What I find really intriguing are the principles of reincarnation that Dr Semkiw is presenting and using to proof his researched cases:
1) Physical appearance (especially facial architecture);
2) Personality traits;
3) Writing style;
4) Karmic soul groups;
5) Past-life symbols, synchronistic events, and anniversary phenomena;
6) Attraction to specific geographic locations;
7) Memories.

Dr Semkiw is using these 7 principles when analyzing and presenting his researched cases. Especially impressive to me are the photos and pictures of all the people researched and their previous incarnations - you start wondering if the same is true for you ..... !!!!

"Born Again" is an enlightening book that gives the reader a lot of food for thought - about him/herself, society, the world, the meaning of life and death, the principles, impacts and mechanism of reincarnation, karma and dharma.

I hope Dr Semkiw will continue his research into the realm of meta-science and share his discoveries and conclusions again with the world!

Customer Review: Very well written

Hats off to Dr. Semkiw for a very well written book! The arrangement of the chapters was logical and the cases were presented in an unorthodox style understandable to everyone.
There were some areas which however could have been given a better treatment like the following -
(a) The very first photographic comparison of a matured Edwin Booth occurring in the book could have been contrasted with a nearly similar mature photograph of Amitabh occurring elsewhere in the same book for a more look-alike feeling.
(b) The second set of comparison photographs of Edwin Booth as a child compared with a mid-aged Amitabh looked out of place. A childhood photograph should have been used for both of them.
(c) A more legible photograph of Hyder Ali should have been used to bring about the comparison between Hyder Ali and Vikram Sarabhai. Hyder's photograph as presented here is very hard to even be seen properly and is in a side pose as compared to a straight pose of Vikram.
(d) The author keeps repeating at many places (as a matter of fact in almost each of the cases) a phrase about Ahtun Re being capable of providing accurate past life matches. Maybe when the cases were being assembled individually by the author at various points of time in his research it was normal for him to oft-quote that phrase but when the cases are collected together as a single volume, this phrase on Ahtun Re could have been restricted to just one case or to the preface or foreword section instead of it being repeated in each case.
(e) The author indicates about the rebirth of Babasaheb Ambedkar as Maeve Townsend but should have provided at the very least one comparison photograph of these two alongside each other like the other cases.
Finally as a suggestion to the author, he could have researched on the possible rebirths of Mahathma Gandhiji, the father of Indian nation and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose the two great polestars who shone the firmament of the Indian freedom struggle in their own individually disinct ways. That would have provided a more rounded elegance to the book. Today I am sure that these two great men are much more well-known in India than Indira Gandhi or Jawaharlal Nehru.
