When Haruka Fujinami starts his job at Yebisu Graphics he takes an immediate dislike to his tyrannical boss, Mr. Daijou. Haruka is given the most menial tasks imaginable and is subjected to Daijou's verbal abuses as well, but oddly enough, he learns that his attraction to his boss grows with each new humiliation. Will Haruka finally stand up to Daijou and assert himself, or will he completely surrender his body and soul to the tall, dark stranger?
Customer Review: Bleh.
I know this series is popular in Japan (it has something, like, SIX drama CDs, which is a pretty good indication of popularity), but I don't know why. I found the first volume completely mediocre. There's a relatively large cast of handsome men, so I guess it has "something for every lady," but the story itself falls along the lines of tame, predictable, boring romance. You could do worse, but you could also do a lot better.
Customer Review: Enjoyable stories.
Overall I liked this. It had three separate though connected story lines about an advertising agency. One is about the Boss and the newest part-timer. It does have a build up of emotion to the consummation, not just a jump into the sack (nothing wrong with that I just like a little more). The other drawn story line is about one of the younger employees of the advertising agency and a male model. The third was a narration of from another employee of the advertising agency. Though there are only a few intimate scenes I was satisfied and enjoyed this one. There were a few translation oddities and one obvious typo but this didn't take away from the story.
